Purple Drank Breath - LPB - Early September

I recently placed an order for an ounce of Purple Drank Breath from LowPriceBud. I’ve never tried this strain before, or LPB, so this was my first time trying both. I used my first timer discount to bring this down to just below 185. Good exper...ience with LPB, they processed and shipped my order very quickly. Packaging is good, many layers of protection from any smell.

My first impression upon unpacking was that the bag appeal is ridiculously good. The buds are basically fully purple, save for the stems, with a nice amount of fiery orange hairs protruding. All this is blanketed in a thick layer of trichomes, giving the buds an immediately noticeable frosted appearance. My bag had mostly medium buds with some smalls, however the smalls are all solid and frosty, no wispy underdeveloped buds to be found here. One negative I noticed is the buds are quite dry. They shipped with a 62% integra but are still quite dry. Not crumble to the touch dry, but not super sticky anymore.

The smell is very pleasant, though unfortunately not as pungent as I would have expected. It’s definitely still a strong scent, but not the type that stains the room for hours after opening the jar. The nose comes across to me as sweet and funky, a distinct “purple” scent with a backend of weird breath funk. A really enjoyable combo, I just wish it were a little more pungent.

The taste is similar to the smell, fairly muted but distinct “purple” taste with a slight hint of breath funk. I like it. It smokes smooth as air too, so despite being dry it actually tastes pretty good and goes down really well.

With bud that looks this good, you have certain expectations for the high. I’m happy to say this lived up to mine. It’s immediately very relaxing, lowering your eyes and settling you down. Brings on hunger rapidly too. It’s potent and fast acting, but much more of a relaxing chill indica high than a slap you in the face, go to bed type. If relaxation is what you’re after, this strain does it well.

Overall I’d rate this a 9/10. It would be perfect if the bud was less dry and slightly more pungent, but this is still some amazing stuff. Looks great, smokes great, and the high is great. I fully recommend it to anyone who likes “purple” type strains.

I ordered this batch of DCM on a Wednesday, shipped via Canada post and it was in my city by Thursday. Very fast shipping from HGA as always. This batch cost me 204 shipped so a very good price for good quality.

As always, DCM has great bag appeal. This batch is a lighter colour than previo...us ones, but still coated in a thick layer of trichomes. Nice hues of green show through underneath and it gives off an intense aroma of gas and chocolate. The chocolate may be a bit more muted than past batches, but it’s still there. I received a mixture of mediums and smalls as advertised, and it was mostly mediums actually so I’m very happy about that.

The high is just what I like, extreme body buzz that wipes away pain with an accompanying head high to make you forget everything. Definitely not the type of weed you smoke before starting your day. Perfect for afternoon and nighttime though. Someone with a very low tolerance may find it to be too much.

Overall I’m extremely happy with my order from HGA, and will definitely be grabbing again. I get the DCM every time it’s available and it has never once disappointed me. HGA is top tier for speed of shipping and customer service as well obviously. Definitely recommend everybody try this strain at least once. 9/10See More

I recently placed an order for an ounce of Platinum Cake by flawless bc from Cannabudpost. I used a first time order code so my total was 220 shipped. The bag appeal is incredible, this stuff is mainly purple with lesser amounts of dark green, and absolutely coated in a blanket of white trichomes. The buds are almost mostly medium and large, with only a few small ones in the ounce. Even the small ones are rock solid, almost completely purple and frosted out though. All buds are quite dense and very sticky. I’m seriously impressed by this stuff, I can’t stop looking at it. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of great pictures out of this pickup.

The smell is intense, once I had broken the vacuum seal the smell filled my room for hours. It’s pungent and rich, layers of different terpenes. I’d say vanilla and gas are equally prominent, with undertones that are hard to describe, maybe some type of fruit and an earthiness. It’s one of the best smelling and tastiest strains I’ve tried this year.

The high lives up to the appearance as well. It’s an indica dominant hybrid high in my opinion, a nice mixture of a relaxing head high and a sedating body buzz. Hits you behind the eyes right away then creeps up over the next few minutes into it’s full effect. One of the more potent strains I’ve tried this year for sure.

Overall I’m extremely impressed by the flower, and I’m very happy with the ordering process and customer service as well. For the price I paid as well I’m extremely happy with what I received. I’ll definitely order from Cannabudpost again and it’ll likely be for more flawless bc flower because I’m loving this stuff.See More

I ordered an oz of LA Kush Cake 6.2 from Prohibition Farms during their drop last weekend, which shipped Monday and arrived Thursday.

The packaging stood out to me as very nice. It came in a sturdy branded cardboard box, with a free sticker, pack of Canadian lumber rolling papers and a car...d. The buds came in two 14g packs, both sealed in plastic then placed inside the very nice black prohibition farms branded mylars.

Upon opening the plastic, the room immediately reeked. These buds are insanely pungent, filling the room with the scent of gas. The terps are primarily gas and undertones of lemon. You can taste it too, it’s the kind of gas that makes you cough not because it’s harsh, just because of the heavy gassy smoke.

The buds themselves are quite nice, very dense and coated in trichomes. A nice mix of light and dark green hues interspersed by orange pistils. No real visible purple. Most of the buds were quite small unfortunately, with one of the 14g packs having only small buds, and the other having two medium sized buds, one of which is pictured, the rest being small. Maybe that’s just how this strain grows, I don’t know. More mediums would have been nice at this price point.

The potency makes up for anything the bag appeal may lack however. This is a very strong indica strain, it hits you hard and fast. Immediately hits you behind the eyes and quickly turns into couch lock. I find munchies quickly set in with this strain as well. Overall a favourite of mine in effects, exactly the type of strain I’m looking for. I’d recommend to anyone who likes gassy kushy tastes with heavy indica highs.

I’ve been waiting for a good price on some CE flower for a while now, so last Wednesday when I saw Harmonized Hemp offering a couple CE strains for 240 an ounce, I knew I had to try it. I read what reviews I could find beforehand, which seemed to agree that out of the two options in the 240 catego...ry the Kush Mints was the better one, so I inquired to make sure they still had an ounce left (since I’ve seen reviews saying they replaced with something else when out of stock without notice). They confirmed, I placed my order that same day, and it shipped the following day. Arrived today, so the shipping was quick, as well as free.

The ounce arrived in four separate quarters, each in a small branded mylar bag with the strain name on it, as well as an integra in each bag. Very nice packaging in my opinion, but I would’ve preferred to receive a whole ounce in one bag. Not a big deal. No free samples or anything, they did throw in a few business cards and a branded sticker. Everything weighed in properly.

Upon cracking open the bags, the smell is immediately pungent. It’s almost an old fashioned “kush smell”, but with a weird funk that is hard to describe. Mint seems a bit of a stretch to me, but I can see how people interpret it that way. It definitely fills the room with an intoxicating scent.

The bag appeal is unfortunately lacking in my opinion. The stuff is coated in trichomes, but just doesn’t seem to have that CE touch where you can immediately recognize their flowers. It’s still very good looking, I guess I just expected more from CE. Maybe that’s why it’s on the 240 menu and the 275 menu has the better looking stuff? I don’t know. Regardless, it’s still very good. I didn’t receive any large buds unfortunately, a few medium and mostly quite small, however even the small ones are hard and sticky, no scraggly loose buds at all. It’s ridiculously sticky, even more so than the DCM from HGA I have, which really impressed me. This stuff loves to stick to your fingers.

It’s surprisingly not the smoothest smoke. Not necessarily bad like some bud I’ve had in the past, but it makes me cough sometimes. I don’t usually cough except from a very large bowl. It’s nothing that most people would complain about or notice, but I have some health issues and try to go for organic or at least reputable “smooth” smokes usually, and this is currently the harshest in my stash. It’s not unbearable at all though, I can still take good bowls and the stuff does have a nice aftertaste, the weird mint terps really stand out on the exhale.

The high is really why I was after this bud, hearing so many people say CE grows the strongest stuff you can get, and I’m glad to say it’s not disappointing, at 240 anyway. It’s not as strong of an indica as I prefer, but it’s undeniably potent. A nice hybrid high that hits you in the face then melts into a bit of a body high. Two bowls had me nicely baked for quite a while, which is my usual test dose for a new pickup. I smoke a few grams of flower every day, so my tolerance is pretty high. This stuff definitely impressed me potency wise, just not exactly my cup of tea for effects.

Overall I rate this cut of Kush Mints 11 by CE a solid 8.5/10. It’s smelly, tasty, sticky, coated in trichomes, but you can tell this is not the best batch they’ve ever grown. It’s not exactly under trimmed, but it just doesn’t have the appearance of some top quality CE flower. It’s also just a little harsher than I would expect from something of this grade. I’ll most likely wait for a particularly good batch of something else from CE to try out next, but I can say that if you like hybrids you won’t be disappointed by this. It’s definitely a potent smoke, and for 40 dollars cheaper than you normally find their stuff, it’s a good way to try them out.See More

This was my first order with True Craft Cannabis after hearing lots of good things about their flower, and I was not disappointed. I placed an order for an ounce of Ice Cream Cake and an ounce of Grape LA last Monday which shipped the next day and arrived today, the following Sunday. I didn’t expe...ct it to come today; it was originally slated to arrive Friday then was delayed until Monday. The tracking hasn’t even updated, it still says it’s going to arrive tomorrow.

It came well packaged, not in jars which I had expected but I don’t mind at all. I talked to Rick before ordering and he recommended me the Black Diamond for my needs even though I was interested in the Ice Cream Cake, which is much more expensive, so that was great of him. He also threw in a few extra grams of Grape LA since it was going on sale even cheaper the next day, so just great customer service! I ended up getting the ICC anyway and asked for a sample of the Black Diamond which he included along with a sample of the Gorilla Glue. Have yet to try them but will review them when I review the Grape LA.

The Ice Cream Cake is some beautiful flower, it’s completely coated in trichomes and has a nice light green coloration with some purple leaves underneath all the white. It’s denser than I was expecting based on appearance. The buds are small to medium sized, and very very sticky. Despite being well sealed (not squished) they were all stuck together when I received them. Very impressive flower. Someone asked me if it was covered in kief when they saw the pictures!

The smell is very nice as well, strong and pungent, a nice scent that’s hard to describe. Most people would say vanilla I think; it reminds me a lot of wedding cake, but gassier. It is a very strong, complex smell for sure, and it does translate into the taste. It fills your mouth with flavour that lingers, hard to describe but very nice.

It smokes just as well as it looks too, completely smooth tokes, no harshness in the throat. The ash isn’t completely white but this smokes smoother than some strains I have with whiter ash so I’m not sure how much that matters.

The high is potent, but a bit of a creeper. It starts with a head rush after the toke that develops into a full body stone. I didn’t notice how high I was at first, when it hit me it hit me though. It didn’t put me to sleep but I think it would later at night. Seems like a very nice hybrid strain that certainly has some painkilling ability as well. A nice daytime or nighttime smoke in my opinion.

Overall I rate this strain a solid 10/10, it exceeded my expectations. Amazing appearance, great smell and taste, very strong high, this is absolutely some craft quality cannabis. I’ll certainly order it again at some point, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet!See More

This is my second time ordering the Death Chocolate Mousse from HGA, and it has quickly become my favourite strain. The nose is gas, chocolate and undertones of lemon, and the taste is ...very much the same. It leaves a lasting chocolate aftertaste that is very pleasant. The smell is extremely pungent, the type of smell that stinks up your entire house when you open up the package. There’s no smoking this stuff discretely, everyone nearby will smell it.

The bag appeal is also amazing, with mostly medium to large nugs in various shades of green and purple, contrasted by the blanket of trichomes that leaves the nugs sticking to your fingers.

The high is why I really love this strain though, it’s so unique compared to other indicas I’ve tried. It hits you immediately after your first toke and has a longevity I hardly thought possible for myself anymore. I’m a heavy user, I primarily smoke to treat pretty severe chronic pain, and I have not found a strain that works better than this yet. To me it’s the perfect mixture of body buzz/couch lock and overwhelming head high to help me forget about my pain for a little while.

As for the company, I have nothing but good things to say about them. Always discreet, fast shipping and quality product. Only ever had one issue and customer service immediately cleared it up, above and beyond what I thought they would do. They’ve certainly made a good impression on me and I wholly recommend you give HGA a try, especially now with the DCM on sale for 185.
