Pacific Cannabis!
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/pacificcannabis.jpg
Signup - Didn’t sign up, was asked if I’d like to do a review.
Package/shipping - In a standard bag with a single vacuum seal layer. This successfully contained the smell. The custo...m mylar bags are very attractive, copper with a contrasting white sticker, I love the design, it’s very modern and fresh.
Perks - This was a free review package. Thanks for your generosity, Pacific. I appreciate the chance to try out a few of your products. :) For you, the code Pacific10 for 10% off your first order.
Customer Service - Not really a ‘customer service’ interaction. They seem nice enough.
Bud - ranging in size and quality from teeny popcorn nugs of Shiskaberry and some very impressive Pink Rockstar. Samples of different grade products, all across the board here.
Pink Rockstar AAA - 8/10
Not a lot of smell pre-bust, but breaking it open releases a very powerful gassy smell. It’s a pretty enjoyable evening high, decent enough potency. Had a good time with it. Very nicely groomed nug. It’s a gorgeous monster. The vape lasts for approximately ever, very productive vapor.
Shishkaberry AAA - 3/10 (note: I personally don’t like Shiskaberry, it is generally agreed by the community this deserves a better rating)
Tiny tiny nugs with no smell. I got this strain legally and it was superior there. Unremarkable in every way. Burns black. I’d get Purple Kush instead. I’m shocked that Xsinx liked it more than me. I guess the sample I got just wasn’t the best example. Also I don’t really like the strain, I’ve had it a couple of times and it’s never really wowed me. The nugs were at least quite fresh in texture, so maybe the ounce would be better, but I got nothing from my example here.
Death Bubba AAAA - 8/10
Found it to be a nice example of the strain, enjoyed the taste, sticky fresh nug which was fun to interact with, gassy without being unpleasant, relaxed me to the core. The nug itself is also really pretty, with a wide range of colors, very attractive. Tough to remark on because it sent me to sleep, but that’s the goal, generally?
Purple Kush AAA - 8.5/10
Fresh and terpy smell which immediately hit me out of the bag–good sign! Has the general good looking ‘weed signs’–lots of frost, holds a springy form to its petals rather than just crumbling at the first touch. Caked in crystals so much so it’s barely purple, more like lavender.
It’s been a while since I’ve had Purple Kush, but I wasn’t expecting spicy garden notes. It’s quite enjoyable, and I do recommend giving it a try. Has some proper fresh terps, even in the sample size. The vapor lasts for ages, and it packs a solid punch. Got some peppery grapy notes and while it’s relaxing, it’s not a knock-out couch lock experience, more of an evening strain than an immediately before bed strain. I have made the mistake of having it right before bed and finding it a bit perkier than I hoped. Death Bubba would have been a better choice, I’ll keep it to an evening rather than before bed option in the future.
Burns black, though, and doesn’t really stay lit. Maybe a bit too fresh for a perfect smoke. Recommend for the dry herb vapers. I really liked it, anyway. Also it’s a $120 ounce, so you can’t really go wrong.
Nebula AAAA - 8.5/10
Pretty dry, fairly dense sample. Nice citrus piny scent. The vaporized flavor is a refreshing smooth citrus breeze experience, with notes of earthy dankness. Super potent, it got me so high off of one bowl that I got the munchies, and my friend reminded me of a lasagna in the fridge. So I got it out and microwaved it. In the TWO WHOLE MINUTES it took to microwave, I sat back down at my computer and completely forgot about it. She reminded me a few minutes later, and I got up, got the lasagna, put it on the counter, got a fork, and then went back to my computer and forgot about it again.
Then she served me asparagus and it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. In short, don’t put anything down on Nebula or you’ll forget about it, and eat some vegetables, because it pairs well with nature. The reality is, I got blazed off of one bowl. It held up for a while. It was a top experience for me.
Ice Wreck Kush AA - 6.7/10
Gassy smell, but not much. While I loved Ice Wreck from The Green Ace, this version didn’t excite me. The buds were fairly dry and the flavor minimal without any impact of mint in vaped form. Mintpact? For those who don’t enjoy the “menthol” experience, this may be more preferable. It smoked down to a light grey-white ash and did contain the cooling minty experience desired in smoked form. That said, it’s very fairly priced at $110 an ounce and fairly graded as an AA.
Sour Tangie AAA - 5/10
Throat tickling smoke which burns to black. Lacking in smell and taste–I’ve had much better examples of the strain in every way possible. Didn’t seem to have much of a high to it at all, but if it did, it would be an uplifting daytime high. It wasn’t super dry, so maybe in an ounce it would be better and capture the delightful orange flavor overall. Pacific Cannabis has better options. I’d get Nebula instead. They also have a couple of other sativas which I didn’t try, but other reviewers seem to have liked their Pineapple Express, another sativa which I would also recommend over Sour Tangie just in general–it’s a classic strain, worth it. But some other people seem to like the Sour Tangie so I won’t ward you off if you like orangy strains, because it does taste nice.
In closing: Pacific Cannabis offers a fairly priced range of products at a variety of price ranges and potencies. I hope to get a chance to try their Pineapple Express at some point in the future. If they keep this up, I think we’re going to be hearing a lot more from them. Some of these were really quite excellent grams. If you were thinking about giving them a go, by all means. That Purple Kush is quite fine. I mean, just look at it, it’s barely even purple underneath all that frost. There’s some great bulk price options too. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on them.

Lava Flowers review - free package, be warned and read on if you want!

Lava Flowers
Signup - It is a mystery....
Package/shipping - In a box with double vacuum sealing, which made sense the moment I punctured through layer two and the smell assailed my home. Came from an unusual location. Two stickers were included–one branded and one twisted stoner sticker. Buds are ingloriously packaged in standard tiny jewelry sized er sorry weed sized ziplock bags with sharpie writing labels.
Perks for me - Free weed appeared in my mail box.
Perks for you - …stickers and weed? Great bulk prices.
Customer Service - They seem nice but I haven’t had any real ’customer servicing’ issues with them.
Buds -
All dense/compact and .20 - .30 grams over a gram. Because of how incredibly dense everything is, I would only get these if you have a smaller hole grinder, not a two piece, and not a wide hole grinder, or you’ll just end up with chunks. Grinding in a fine grinder will separate everything into a functionally fluffy pile.
Watermelon - 7/10
Fabulosa. Tastes like summer. It’s a great vape flush with flavor. Smokes down to a grey-white-black mix and it’s super tasty, definitely has a watermelon freshness in the smoke too. At its current sale price of $90 an ounce, it is more than worth it.
Watermelon Skittles - 8/10
Smells so bad I almost refused to vape it. Once I did, I was glad I got over its piss-dirt-like back alley odour. It’s actually sweet and pungent and very enjoyable in the vape. It definitely has something going on from a Haze lineage. It is a fucking AWESOME smoke. Reduces to a whitish ash, smooth, flavourful without being the same violating pungency of the smell. I highly recommend smoking this strain. The cure was spot on and stayed lit. Uplifting head focusing sativa high.
Purple Train Wreck - 8/10
Extremely dense. It’s a shame it got so compressed, because the flower itself does seem to be high quality, higher humidity levels with a spring to it. Nose curling gassiness. Freakin gorgeous color on it too. Burns to a light-medium gray ash and it’s pretty smooth, amazing gassy tasting smoke. It isn’t an immediate assault high, the body high rolls in about three minutes after you smoke it, giving you just enough time to get safely to bed before you can’t move anymore. Body tingles. In the vape you won’t escape before the body high comes on and you will be too heavy to move. Or else I’m just fat. Anyway, the vape tastes like gentle diesel. I am a bit sorry this is the best weed someone’s ever had but it’s a very nice $150 ounce. I’d definitely consider buying this one. Is it the best flower I’ve encountered recently? Nah, but I respect what it’s doing and the price is right.
Godberry - 6/10
Earthy berry taste. The earthen smell is so intense as to be almost unpleasant to me. The berry notes are sustained throughout the vaping experience and if you’re into that deep wine-like berry flavor, it is present here. Burns black black and black, harsh smoke. It’s so pretty but I just don’t like it very much.
Pinkberry - 7/10
Busting it up, you get a nice mix of sweetness and berry notes in the aroma, very pleasant. In the vape, the taste is the delicious sweetness of a berry smoothie or juice or something, in my humble opinion it’s superior to Gooberry. Being one of the $90 ounces it’s WORTH IT imo.
Mango - 7/10
Tastes like mango for the first few hits in the vape but as soon as the green is gone, all of the fun goes with it. Smoked, it tastes like mango all the way through, and it burns to a gray-black mix, reasonably smooth, always delicious.
OG - 6/10
Stanky diesel/gassiness, not skunky at all. I’ve had so many versions of OG Kush. This one is pure gas. Like sucking on an exhaust pipe. I hate it in the vape. The high is a head gripping one which focuses me in on whatever I’m looking at like I’m a shark. Like my intensity ramped up by 5000 but only through a 1 inch square. This is sometimes a very beneficial high to have and worth noting. Held its flavor forever. This was not a perk for me. Smoked, it burns dark grey, tastes gassy in a good way. I recommend this version of the strain for smokers, because it just falls flat in the vape. My friends seemed to enjoy it though so if you like a gassy weed it’s for you!
Cherry OG - 6.8/10
Black ash, harsh smoke, but it tastes soooooooooooo good smoked. Way better than in the vape, which is unremarkable. While the first vape hit has a subtle cherry sweetness, vaporized it reminds me mostly of cough medication mixed with gas. Smoked, it just makes the smoke a magnificent sweet, missing the notes of medication. While the flavor dies down fairly quick, the vapor lasts for a while, making it relatively satisfying.
Closing remarks:
Lava Flowers is very well priced for the product you get. While they don’t sell anything smaller than an ounce (unless you want a mix and match ounce, or the gram sampler) that focus on more bulk sized offerings translates to incredible deals. Worth taking a look. I would definitely consider checking them out, especially if you’d like your weed to ship from a location somewhere in between BC and Toronto, confusing everyone.
Thanks for the wonderful package, Lava Flowers!

A review package for a new MoM.
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/mainlandreview.jpg
Mainland Cannabis
Signup - It is a mystery. This was a forum arranged review package.
Package/shipping - In a box with a single layer of vacuum ...sealing. One aspect was different–they did not label the box but instead a layer outside of the box, so it could be reused. The gift was nicely wrapped in gift wrap and included a hand written note card.
Perks for me - Free weed. Also came with a coupon code.
Perks for you - They have a $300 for two ounce mix and match package.
Customer Service - They seem nice enough but I haven’t had to deal with any problems.
Buds -
Orange Cookies - 6/10
Lacking aroma, when it’s torn up it releases an orangy smell. Tight trim on it. Nice tacky spring when handled. Flavor in the vape has the peppery cookies note going on, which I love, and a light orange which is less prominent in the smoke and more in the vape. I found it evolved to taste burnt, and while the vapor was still happily going, the flavor had become less pleasant than I liked. The resulting high from one bowl is very head focused, with the advantage of destroying the slight headache I had been cultivating. It created a sensation like a vice grip, focusing all of my attention right up there, being pulled out of my body and into my head. I cannot stress how little body high there was enough. It’s also not creatively focusing. I’m going to have a go at meditating. It’s a smooth smoke, but burns mostly black with some gray patches. Stayed lit the whole time. It’s on for $260 an ounce with a note that only small buds remain, which is utter madness, and not in the good way. I would not buy it at that price.
Violator/Moby Dick - 7.2/10
In the bag, very little smell. It’s a delicate citrus. Super frosty. Magnificent bag appeal, handles beautifully, large petals . The vape tastes smooth and with a bit of vanilla creaminess, like a cream soda mixed up with some Sprite. On the other hand, the first words that I used to describe it were “musty cheese”. I enjoyed it, would consider buying it again. It burns mostly black, however, it is extraordinarily smooth to smoke with an excellent milky pungency. It’s included in the $300 2 ounce deal which I think is quite fair given its overall quality.
Kali Mist - 6.5/10
Beautiful nug with great bag appeal. No leafy bits at all. Of course, this is just one nug. It’s extremely dense, pretty much smell-free until broken up. Inside it has an earthy smell, but that’s about it. Similarly, the vapor, while present, is devoid of flavor. Since I wasn’t picking up much from it I handed it to my best friend, who said, “it tastes fresh.” In fact, our opinions differed–she liked this one better than VMD (which I preferred because it was more robust than KM) At best there’s a cooling back of the mouth flavor with a bit of dustiness. When I pushed it to the end of the bowl, it developed a bit of a pepperiness rather than an unpleasant burnt taste. That was a nice perk, I found it held up well in the vape. Burns to a dark gray and was viciously harsh compared to VMD, so I would recommend it strictly to anyone who vapes. It’s also a $260 ounce, so if it’s a strain you desire, sure, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.
Grease Monkey - 7/10
Actually aromatic in the bag! It is piney and busting it up makes it astringent and intensely pine and citrusy. Beautiful dark green and orange nugs, perfect trim. It does not taste like it smells, being rather smooth, with what I interpret as the flavor of banana and hazelnuts. I don’t think it’s as good as King Tuts AAAA version.
Some of it burnt white, some of it burnt black, and it was harsh to smoke. The smoke was the most sweet, delicious flavored smoke I’ve ever had, though, so if your lungs are steely rather than asthmatic and weeny, have at it.
Congo - 7.4/10
Genuinely exciting bag appeal nugget here, good aroma, a spicy fruit leather kind of smell, reminds me a bit of dried apricots in the bag before busting up the nug, which just enhances the aroma. The vapor flavor is reminiscent of jam, sweet and spicy, unfortunately a bit harsh. I’d go out of my way to try this strain from other sources, and consider buying this one again from Mainland Cannabis. Honestly, I think it’s the winner here. It’s a $240 ounce, which is slightly more reasonable in this case especially since Congo is a more obscure strain (I see Red Congolese more often) and it’s an attractive example.
Death Train - 4.5/10
Smells weak, nothing really noteworthy. Vaping it is completely mediocre. Smoking it, it doesn’t really like to stay lit, it burnt to a black-brown ash. It’s weed, it’s harsh, I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it. The heady sudden onset high with the smoke is worth mentioning, it slams into you like a death train and knocked me from sober to fucked up in about 30 seconds. Smoking it, it is really potent. The problem is that it also tastes like a death train. Looks beautiful but it’s not for me.
Comatose - 7/10
Slight gassy smell, flavor is weakly herbal or floral, I don’t hate it, it doesn’t wow me. It’s a decent painkiller and the vapor is smooth. Like, I’d buy it if it were on sale. It’s not, though, it’s on for $220 an ounce. Burns dark gray/black, but it does shine as a smoke, it tastes incredibly refreshing and sweet, and it’s quite smooth. The high is worth noting. It brings on body chills and tingles, feels freaking amazing. Recommend smoking before a lil winky winky nudge nudge if ya know what I mean.
Critical Mass - 7.2/10
“Hoppy” in the way an IPA is, a lot of pine coming out of this. Really curls the nose hairs and is shocking in the vape, significantly more flavor than Comatose. It’s my favourite of the indicas in the sampler pack, and the one I can most strongly recommend, because it’s also been fairly priced at $150 an ounce, a very reasonable price for its flavor and potency, which is a middle of the road. That said, my preference extends only as far as vaping, because it burnt black and was unfortunately harsh, not staying well lit.
In closing: Mainland Cannabis is a legitimate MoM with a strong sense of branding already present. I felt touched by how nicely assembled the presentation was in the package, making it less forgettable than a bundle of blank baggies. I will likely order from them in the future to try their medicated lip balm, as that is something I am very interested in! I found all of their cannabis examples they sent to me to have high bag appeal, and they do offer bulk. If you were thinking of trying them I won’t discourage it, though I don’t think they’ll be one of my go-tos for flower they do carry several niche products and if they continue to develop that line of products it will make them stand out from the crowd of similar offerings. The smoke results were hit and miss, some of them had an excellent cure and smooth smoke and others were harsh and uncomfortable.

When two MoMs I use had a strain I liked at a similar price point I couldn’t resist

King Tut Citrique AAA versus Speed Greens Citrique AAAA
I ca...n tell they are the same strain. They have similar scent notes and flavor notes, and the buds look pretty similar, though they have a bit of a different overall feel.
Default Packaging
KT - Black bag, transparent on one side, hand-written label.
SG - Pill bottle with a bodeva and a custom printed label .
SG takes this point. It is worth noting that KT does have some custom packaging and will send in bottles on request, but this is the default.
Price point - I bought 8ths to compare.
KT - I paid $25 for the 8th, originally priced at $159 for the ounce but it’s their $99 ounce. Free shipping at $195, so to just buy this strain you’re adding on $20 shipping but you’ll get a free gift at the $99 free gift level. It is fairly priced for the strain quality.
SG - I paid $32 for the 8th, it’s $193 for the ounce. Free shipping at $149–yep, they raised it. Some mumbo jumbo about coupon codes, but since you can’t use a coupon after your second order, eh.
KT takes this point.
Bud size
KT - largest one was a 1.3
SG - largest bud was a 1.16
Pretty similar, but KT takes this point.
Bud quality
KT - Nice trim job with no leaf, a robust stem and fat shaped nugs, a few orange hairs, not remarkably shiny, not really sticky and not really dry, it’s a perfect balance. Handling them, the aroma is present in the air. Definitely has bag appeal.
SG - nicely manicured, no leafy bits, lots of orange hairs, a “spring” to it, not dry at all. Kinda skinny and you really have to get close to get the smell, which is awesome, but not as pervasive. My fingers get sticky when I interact with the bud.
Giving it to KT.
Smell
pre-busted
KT - delicate and sweet, it’s not overpowering, and it is distinctly citrusy, but not any particular fruit, more like a mixed pop beverage.
SG - a modest citrus nose, not particularly “weedy” or overwhelming.
KT takes this point.
Post-grind smell
KT - sweet and tangy, orange candy, still very much like a soft drink. It doesn’t evolve so much as get more powerful. Breaking it up releases aromatic notes into the air which I have trouble imagining anyone being offended by. I can foresee this being a Bed n Bath scent.
SG - sweet and dusty orange. There are more “cannabis” notes upon breaking into it, getting some musty and piny tones and the smell is not as apparent.
Point to KT.
Vapor Taste
KT - a delightful orange-lemon-lime presence that dies off after a few good hits.
SG - rolls in with a non-sweet orange flavor, like an orange essential oil rather than a candy. There’s also notes of lime. The flavor is extremely present.
Giving the point to SG, since I felt the flavor lasted a bit longer. They have slightly different strengths (more sweetness in the KT).
Vapor smoothness
KT - moderately smooth, coughed a bit.
SG - very smooth, no coughing on my end though I shared it with a friend and they coughed, produces volumes of clouds for a long period of time.
The point goes to SG.
Vapor longevity
KT - Decently productive for a few good hits and then lets up after a while.
SG - Lasted a bit longer in the vape, as it was more damp to begin with.
Point to SG.
Smoke Taste
KT - lightly orangey but turned smoky quick.
SG - tastes amazing smoked, the smoke just wallops you in the mouth with orange and lemony notes.
Point to SG.
Smoke Smoothness
KT - smooth AF, not a tickle
SG - pretty good, I coughed a couple of times but I don’t smoke regularly enough to have a tolerance and it may just be that my throat was annoyed because of me being unused to smoking.
Point to KT.
Ash
KT - burnt black and brown. It reminded me of really dark ABV, which made me wonder if I didn’t combust it properly, except I couldn’t get that bowl to relight and it just tasted like soot so I guess that was the resulting ash? I’m just not a skilled smoker.
SG - burnt to a dark grey, mostly black ash.
Point to SG.
Quality of high
KT - Moderate strength quality, shorter duration.
SG - Moderate quality of strength, I felt like this one might’ve been a bit more potent.
Point to SG.
Final Score
7 Speedgreens
6 King Tuts
So, the result is Speedgreens by a hair!
As it should be, since they’re selling it as a quad and not a trip! That said, I believe that King Tuts is a amazing value, since it’s a shockingly good flower to be sold as a $100 ounce. If money saving is more important to you, get the KT. If you’re smoking, get the King Tuts. If you’re vaping, get the Speedgreens.
If my review has inspired you to try either company, consider hunting down my code from the shill factory to sign up. :) Either way, fellow tokers, may the buds be ever in your favor!

Return of the King! My first review from this site was King Tuts.
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/KINGTUTS.jpg
Signup - ID required, I think. It’s been a while since I signed up and I signed up on their old site.
Package/shipping - Tut goes lig...ht on packaging unless requested otherwise–their standard is a bubble mailer containing an opaque sealed bag full of whatever goodies you ordered. The half I ordered was vacuum sealed into a bag with a bodeva, however, it required me to transfer it to a jar at home. I had an empty Speedgreens jar with an Alien OG label, and transferred it into that.
The gram sampler pack came in opaque baggies. The glass pipe was wrapped in bubble wrap.
The two concentrates, though both I believe to be shatter, were not packaged the same. The GGC house shatter came in a King Tut branded wrapper and the Rockstar shatter came in an eyeshadow jar with a silicone insert. This must be the jar which gave another reviewer grief; I did not have that problem.
Purchased on Friday; arrived Wednesday.
Perks for me - This is a standard order. As it was my first on the new site design, this gave me 10% off. I did not push my order into the free shipping threshold, which is $250. If this review inspires you to try King Tut, consider using my affiliate code. The King gave me a free pipe and rolling papers (normal gifts you could select with any order) and a free dabber, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t order that Rockstar shatter either. This was not specifically “review perks”.
Perks for you - new customers get 10% off. There is an elaborate loyalty program where your prices will get cheaper over time if you shop with the King a lot. Free shipping over $250. Cheap AF ounces. Free gifts with like, every order–papers, pipes, dabbers, whatever, you’ll get something too.
Concentrates -
God’s Green Crack Shatter - 7/10
Beautiful custom branded King Tut shatter. I foresee a future for this guy, your brand work is strong. The shatter came pre-shattered! Now this is what I’m talking about! It was so shattery that I actually had a bit of it hop out of the package when I opened the parchment paper.
The fold is one thing I have a bit of critique on; the folding is very precisely done, but because the tension is distributed horizontally instead of diagonally, and there’s not a lot of excess paper, it made the paper more inclined to ‘pop’, therefore causing me to lose a flake of shatter. This happened twice. Since shatter is more expensive than flower, this is a bit annoying.
The shatter itself is golden yellow, extremely easy to work with, and full melt. The vapor isn’t entirely smooth, I cough a bit. It has a grassy and pine flavor which doesn’t hit the same energizing notes as the flower for me, but instead invokes more of the indica notes of the strain, lulling me into a relaxed couch sitting state where I just wanna chill.
It’s a decent product.
Rockstar Shatter - 8.5/10
Dark brown snap shatter, easy enough to work with, in its default state it is a hard, solid piece, not a brittle sheet. The flavor is a condensed version of the Rockstar strain, a gas and dark fruit mixture with maybe an edge of dark carbonated beverage. It goes down smooth. The high stands out as relaxing and happy. This is some awesome shatter, and I’ll be honest, I like it more than the strain on its own as flower. That is not the case for the God’s Green Crack shatter, which I find to be an excellent product in its own right but not superior to the flower experience. I’d absolutely buy this again.

Alien OG AAA -
Priced at $139 per ounce, the mere fact that this burns to a grey ash and not black is reason enough to recommend it. It’s not a perfect burn, but it’s pretty smooth. The nugs are predominantly popcorn sized, however there are a few standouts, with the largest being 1.17 grams. They reek of a citrus sort of smell. Curiously, it’s a smoother experience burned than vaped, I find myself inclined to recommend this strain for the pipe and bong users.
When used in a vape, it lasts forever, it’s really quite humid, the bowl just goes on and on and on and on and on. However, it makes me occasionally cough, not severely harsh but a bit more than I prefer.
Greasy Monkey AAAA - 8/10
Three small popcorn pieces with fluffy shiny petals, slightly sticky. The flavor is grassy, cheesy or creamy, a bit banana, and overall very fruity and sweet. The nose is overwhelmingly a sweet banana. It’s unique and extremely enjoyable. Loved this strain in the vape.
Smoked, I found it a bit harsh, the flavor unremarkable with an unidentifiable gassy sweetness. It reduced to a black ash speckled with white patches.
I believe it’s fairly priced as a quad.
Northern Lights Appalachia AAAA - 9/10
https://proxy.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia.giphy.com%2Fmedia%2FMNRUNtubLcuGI%2Fgiphy.gif&f=1
Breaking this open, the smell is intoxicating, recognizable as Northern Lights, super aromatic and fruity, with notes of apple, pineapple–I would actually eat this if it were a candy or drink it were it a cocktail. The bud is a nice loose one with a sprinkling of hair and springy, frosty petals. It made me excited to open the package, excited to crack open the bud, excited to vape, and even excited to smoke. I believe this is fairly priced as a quad ($230 range) and I would go out of my way to buy it again. If it’s still in stock next round I will buy more of this one.
Zombie OG AAAA - 8/10
Frosty springy flowers in a few popcorn sized pieces. Even still the smell is powerful, a pungent and astringent citrus. In the vaporizer, the flavor reduces to something that is reminiscent of vanilla, with a citrusy overtone. It’s extremely potent, and I would consider ordering it again.
Ghost Pie AAAA - 8.2/10
One solid springy, shiny flower that breaks apart leaving your fingers sticky. It smells sweet, pineapple and leathery to me, and once it’s busted up it releases some pine type notes, a really eye-watering high pine, with a bit of toffee. I really like it, and I can’t deny the bag appeal, though the coloration is a bit on the paler side.
Gear -
Glass Candycane Pipe - 5/10
Smokes fine if you can get it to light. Difficult to light due to its shape, and I burnt myself with the lighter for the first time ever in my life. Does not hold a screen due to its shape. However, I haven’t inhaled any weed through it, so there’s that, the design does seem to function quite well to prevent it from getting into your mouth.
I don’t hate the experience, but it does make me want to smoke with a candle lighter on hand. It’s seriously challenging.
Rainbow Titanium Dabber - 9.8/10
This is the dabber of my dreams. It’s five inches long, robust and rainbow colored (it could only be better if it were HOLO!) with that kinda finish that shifts when you move it around. It has grips like you might find on a small woodworking type tool. This is probably the most useful gift I’ve ever received from a MoM. It could be used to pick dirt out from under your nails, but do not stick it in your ear. I have no problem with this product or its intended price point of 7 dollars, because I was actually going to buy it. I can think of no criticism other than my personal desire for everything to be covered in a holographic finish, which is not a legitimate reason to decrease its rating, it is rainbow, it’s pretty close to perfection.
Raw Rolling Papers - 6/10
Overrated average rolling papers. I’ll use them in the apocalypse as currency, I guess. You can roll a joint with them, I just don’t care to. However, when my vape suddenly broke, it was great that I had papers on hand from freebies, so I’m not mad about htem.
Cotton Candy Rolling Papers - 7.5/10
Disappointingly they are blue, and not printed with a multicolor cotton candy (some of the fruit ones from this brand have fruit prints on them). They taste incredible, exactly like cotton candy, and lend a pleasant sweetness to the joint. I paired it with the fruity, but in a sour way, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies and exceptionally enjoyed the experience. I might actually use these ones.

While I also bought Citrique again at this time, I’m going to feature it separately against King Tut’s AAA Citrique! More savage than I usually am, but hey... :D

Package/shipping - A scent-free box containing a sealed opaque bag, in which was contained a sealed vacuum bag. Only once with was punctured was there any smell. The vacuum seal went a bit overboard, so almost all of the 4 bottles were indented. Either that or Canada Post had some really weird problems along the way, because the box exterior was pristine. Contains an invoice.
Purchased on Friday; arrived Tuesday. While there appeared to be some delay in the shipping notification that made it appear as though it might not have been sent until Monday, that apparently didn’t matter. It’s here. Speed. Greenery.
Perks for me - I received marijuana in the mail in exchange for my cash money. 100% purchased. No coupon. No gifts. I didn’t even warn them I was buying or reviewing. :)
Perks for you - Free shipping over $99. Free gifts at certain price points–in fact, I believe I was $2 under the free gift threshold. new10 code for new customers. repeat10 code for second purchase. Periodically they have non-coupon sales for the rest of us unwashed stoner scumbags.
Buds - I purchased more Platinum Girl Scout Cookies and Citrique, as I expressed the desire to do so in my previous reviews. As I have Citrique on the way from King Tut as well, I plan to do a FACEOFF so it will not be included in this review. I also elected to try two of the new AAAAs which have been well-reviewed by other reviewers on the forum: Alpacho Gold and Platinum Blackberry.
Alcapalo Gold - 9/10 stars
I’m working on one bowl in the vape and getting a notable sativa high. I bow to its powers. I was like “ehhh you’re an ugly lil nug aren’t you” when I weighed it out and was super unimpressed by its lumpy weirdness. Now what a lesson in not judging a book by its cover indeed. For the record, I’m the heaviest user among my friends, and I use concentrates on most days. My consumption doesn’t come anywhere near that of some of you incredible smokers, you, fiends. But it’s still high enough that I don’t expect to get this kind of a rush from a smaller amount of flower alone in a vape. I would buy this strain again and if I didn’t have two other orders of weed in transit for the next month, I would buy it right now. It is fiendishly potent, no matter how ugly it looks on the outside. Don’t judge this book by its cover.
Platinum Blackberry - 6/10
Interesting nose; it is definitely blackberry forward. However, ground up, the smell quickly dissipates, leaving me a bit underwhelmed. They’re saying quad, but I’m getting more AAA vibes off this one. The vapor is reasonably smooth and to be fair, it tastes great. Pair it with a cocktail, pair it with a large bowl of healthy snacks… pair it with you going to bed. Plus it was underweight and had a notable amount of shake in the bottom of the bottle. I wanted to give it a try, but it’s not comparable to Black Roses from my previous order.
For the high, it took me 3 bowls to get a proper indica couchlock going on, and indeed it served as promised, gluing my limbs to the couch and running my brain down to a halt. I’ve been pretty energetic today and it did bring me down. This is obviously desirable for some people who use cannabis, I am not one of those people. Not a re-buy for me, but I recommend it if that’s your game.
Platinum Girl Scout Cookies - 8/10
This is a re-buy for me, because I went through my first quarter and realized I kept reaching for it and being disappointed I didn’t have it. This is a restock, but it’s almost identical to the first batch I received in everything but nugger size. These are some proper nuggets of marijuana, fresh and springy, perhaps a little too fresh for some people’s use preferences.
It burns perfectly in a joint, however. While its flavor is SHOCKING in the vape, in a joint it is smooth as silk with a sour note and this sort of trail of uncooked rhubarb, it’s really something else. Burns white too, so that’s a plus. I can confidently recommend it as quality smoke.
It does tend to make my friends cough, it has a weird sort of sourness to it and a lot of that pepper flavor some people associate with Girl Scout lineage. I grew attached to it and couldn’t resist ordering some again on the restock.
Gotta say, both of the Platinum strains are absolutely beautiful in their coloration. Wonderful bag appeal, as they say.
Stay tuned for the Citrique Showdown! (and the review of the rest of the King’s stuff)

Speed Greens #2
9/10
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/SPEEDGREENS2.jpg
Signup - ID required, however, I believe you can place your order without needing the ID verified. First orders can get a free 3.5 and 10% off with their order using coupon cod...e new10!
Package/shipping - SpeedGreens has hands down the best MOM packaging. Your bud will be in a box, in a vacuum sealed opaque bag, inside of which is another vacuum sealed bag, inside of which are pill bottles for the buds with a bodeva for everything, even the grams. Concentrates come in their own zippies with the shatter wrapped in parchment with a sticker and the budder in an eyeshadow container with a silicone insert. Every strain has its own custom label art, grade, weight.
Perks for me - This was a legitimate order of 14 grams and a budder. On MirkaLane’s review I commented they should send me the AA Pink Kush shatter to add to my review. SpeedGreens offered to do this, and threw in 3 more grams because hey why not right. Thanks, SG.
Perks for you - Free 3.5 grams on first order. Free shipping over $99. Anyone can get free gifts at certain price points. Currently they have the coupon repeat15 for your second order and I think new10 for your first order. It does change, whatever the current coupon is it will be on the front page.
Customer Service - They are present and fast to respond via all media I’ve contacted them by.
Buds - The grams are all gorgeously manicured. Sour Patch Kids has some nice big nugs. Platinum Girl Scout Cookies is the only one that consists mostly of ‘popcorn’ sized nugs. I don’t mind popcorn nugs personally, but it doesn’t have the AAAA bag appeal. It was priced lower and the potency is getting me high on one bowl as a heavier user. Everything is at weight or over.
Purchases-
Platinum Girl Scout Cookies - AAAA 4.2/5
While the bag appeal is lacking, the strain is potent. The cure is at a perfect humidity with spring, not crumble, though the flowers are on the loose side. The terps are like a fresh summer day, no pungent notes, no cookie notes. I find it fruity and acidic. The result is a mind-boggling sativa high which comes on powerfully cerebral. The flavor is herbal and smooth, platinum indeed. It’s extremely vapable. If it weren’t for the fact that a few bowls–strike that, a bowl–will bring on a very euphoric, cerebral couchlock, it would be a good wake and bake strain. But as it stands, it’s more of a “you will be able to write as long as you kept the laptop in front of you” strain. I don’t have the munchies. The refrigerator is just so far away right now…
I rated it a little lower because I don’t think it’s quite a AAAA, more of the AAA+ that some people are flashing as a half-way between AAA to AAAA, but I do keep grabbing it and I found a nug in my Christmas Vacation Grab Bag and identified it immediately due to its unique smell. I recommend it if you’re not in it for the looks of a flower, it’ll knock your socks off.
Sour Patch Kids - AAAA 4.6/5
The scent is INTENSE, wafts out of the jar. It is both fruity and herbal at the same time. Similarly, the taste is both “fruity candy” but also a little bit of herbal thyme, cilantro, rhubarb. The overall flavor is very complex.
This is 100% a social strain. I have never laughed so much, so hard, writing with my best friend. We’re probably not the comedic geniuses we think we are. You could replace alcohol with this strain and get a similar fun time. Definitely use it at a party or while socializing during the day. When I tested it alone, I found it to be relaxing and provide a gentle psychoactive effect which was not interfering with my overall cognition, but still notably relaxing, not energizing.
Note that in my photo it shows as slightly underweight, but when I shifted it on the scale it was being a bit iffy about whether it was 7.00 or 6.99, so honestly IT’S FINE and they gave me SO MUCH FREE SHIT SO YEAH
Golden Pineapple Budder - AAAA 4.5/5
Beautiful honeycomb butter with a waxy consistency, exactly what I desired. The flavor is almost absent, a hint of pineapple more notably in the smell. No one uses budders for their taste, though. This is without a doubt a sativa, so much so an upper that the first few times I used it I had trouble noticing that it even got me high, I was so lucid and the comedown smooth. Use during the day to feel happier. I believe it would make an ideal work use due to the almost non-existing marijuana odour and potency, allowing one to quickly medicate on the go.
Gifts:
Black Dog - AAAA 3.7/5
Tastes of smooth musky, earthy pine. It has a fast hitting body high that vanishes as fast as it came on. While it tastes and looks great, I feel like I’d have to use it constantly to maintain a good high. This is likely due to my tolerance being higher, and if you have a lower tolerance I would give it a try! I also experienced a sort of ‘crash’ at the end, something I find undesirable and tend to avoid. It’s not a strain I would chose to reorder myself. While in most ways it fits the bill of an AAAA, being nicely trimmed, sticky, a solid single nugget of a balanced consistency, covered in crystals, smelling and tasting great, I just don’t love the effects all that much. Instead I would pick…
Black Rose - AAAA 4.8/5
It’s slightly more expensive but it’s worth it, I think, because of just how potent this indica is. This is one I’d consider to be worthy of the AAAA title. I had been considering purchasing a larger amount of this one and now I’m wishing I had. Hopefully it’ll still be available next time I’m buying. Extremely attractive and enjoyable potent high. Jammed my thoughts up real good, minimized my back pain and erased any ability I might’ve once had to think. Tastes great, like berries and maybe even a bit floral, though it could just be the association from the name. Beautiful flower. You will not be getting anything done on this strain, I’m afraid, save it for night time and pain relief.
Cirique - AAAA 4.7/5
Delicious citrus flavor, the Mountain Dew of weed. Lime and lemon notes both present. Indeed, it’s also uplifting and mellow. I definitely wish I’d purchased a larger amount of this strain and if it’s still in stock in the new year, I might duck back and grab a quarter or half. I find the flavor extremely enjoyable, without any of the harsh tickle of a lemon phenotype at a lower temperature. It’s a enjoyable balanced high.
Pink Kush “Shatter” - AA 3.5/5
Inconvenient to work with at best, what this lacks in manageability it at least makes up for in flavor.
Unlike a waxy budder, the terps are very present in this Pink Kush concentrate. Pine, powerful diesel, and even a touch of berry all make it through. It vaporizes smooth, in the lungs a worthy experience. Whatever process made this concentrate did result in a flavourful distillation with fast pain killing potential. The high kicks in fast, and lasted for a while, I had creeping sedative effects for over an hour and would have easily been able to get to sleep.
I’m thrilled Speedgreens included it as a gift for me to review and while I wouldn’t purchase it again myself, I can see it having a place in the right stoner’s heart. Ideally you love Pink Kush and have the patience of a saint. I have the latter, but not the former. Now if it was Blue Dream “sap” of this potency, with the AA price, I might be buying a wad. I’d put up with the hassle for a strain I loved. I don’t hate keeping the product in the freezer to ensure it’s manageable. As long as you break off the piece you intend to use and return the slab to the freezer in parchment or transfer to silicone, it is usable as shatter.
One method to make it easier to use would be to have kief on hand and use it as a cook might powder a pan, dusting your dabber, or rolling small balls of it in the bottom of your grinder’s reclaim keif. You can also use oil to get your dabber clean and then use the reclaim topically; I used the inevitable sticky bits I couldn’t reclaim from my dabber with some coconut oil on my chapped lips since it’s so dang dry.
In short: Yes, I recommend Speedgreens and will be returning in the future for more weed from them. If I’ve inspired you to try them, sign up through my affiliate code in the shill factory so I can let people know the specifics of how the program works in my next review. :D

The Green Ace 9.5/10
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/greenacereview3.jpg
Signup - ID required. They’re quick and online often, no worries.
Package/shipping - A scent-free box containing a sealed vacuum bag full of metal baggies of grams. Canada ...Post’s shenanigans continue; the package was rerouted due to an error on the label, the site said it wouldn’t arrive until the 18th, and yet here we are, many days pre-Thursday.
Perks for me - This package was free of charge, offered by The Green Ace so I could review the rest of their strain selection (however in the time it took me to write the review they added three strains! Rats!). I have done two previous reviews of orders which included a couple of free samples.
Perks for you - Free shipping over $150. Free gifts at certain price points include free papers, free extra grams and free rollies. Referral option to split $40 reward points with the referrer and their friend. Affiliate option. Reviewing on the site, purchasing, etc gets you reward points towards free weeds. Doing those basic things with my purchases net me $19 of weed points without any referral bonuses.
Buds - A beautiful array of magnificent beasts which range from a tiny dense rock hard nugget that somehow weighs a gram to a huge 2 gram fluffy monster. They’re all attractive. Black Diamond is exceptionally gorgeous, exactly the photos suggest.
God’s Green Crack - The trim on this is stunning. This could win an award. Yet SOMEHOW, at the time of writing, this is on sale for $130 an ounce. The aromatics are less intense, more of a grassy experience than a toe curling one, and the flower is lime green through to the core. The flavor is light but lasts for a long time in a vaporizer, diesel and gassy. 4.2/5
Blue Cheese - The aromatics are potent. Opening the bag emits a waft of stanky cheese. Sticking your nose into the bag and inhaling is dangerous, one might almost be knocked unconscious by the sheer force of dank! Magnificent. I would consider ordering more of this. Definitely a quad in odour… I find myself returning to it just to smell, and definitely to consume. The flavor profile is cheesy with some fruity notes, the name is on the nose. 4.8/5
Skunky Diesel - Extraordinarily dense. Powerful odour that’s more diesel than skunk, but there is some skunk in there. It wouldn’t convince anyone you have a skunk problem, but it does have some of those marijuana skunky notes present in the aroma. It tastes like skunk immediately, however. Like a skunk just up and farted in your mouth. The skunk is tempered by some gassiness and a bit of a creaminess. I don’t think it’s the skunk from your teenage dreams, though it’s worth a try. At least it’s not the skunk that was around when I was a teen. Personally, I am not a fan, I’ve never liked my cannabis on the skunky side. Gives a head pinching sort of effect. 3.5/5
Bubba Kush - Powerful diesel and pungent aroma when you initially sniff, and on breaking up the buds it gets only stronger. It tastes like it smells, with a warming effect and enormous clouds of mouth-tingling vapor. The flower I received is springy and sticky, with a thick trich coating. Everyone’s had a lot of Bubba Kush. This is a nice example of it. I didn’t find it the flawless sleep strain that Death Bubba is, which made it more enjoyable for me. 4.5/5
Black Diamond - Mildly aromatic with a bite of pepper present in both the smell and taste. Slightly creamy. I didn’t find it notably pungent, subtle and sits nicely in the mouth, an example of a refreshing cannabis. I think it’s a great price for the quality, and a truly beautiful example of cannabis. The flower looks exactly like the photo on the website in terms of its overall rich deep color profile, no disappointment in bag appeal. Having had a few various Black strains, I found this one a little lacking in the flavor department. The effects were markedly body-high. I am in a lot of pain at the moment and it helped out a lot, but, at the cost of gluing me to the couch. I can do nothing but sit here, there is no difference between me and the couch. I have become one with everything. If you do a really small bowl, you can get away without the couchlock, I tried a bowl when I had a light headache coming on and good news, no more headache. 4.2/5
Pink Star - Toppest of shelf. To be fair I did already review this but I won’t hesitate to say again that this is one of the best indicas I’ve ever tried. The aroma is pungent and gassy. The flower is springy and breaks apart, not crumbles, into tidy well cured petals. Pink Star is a true star, and I won’t back down on that one; I’m not just being like “oh well I like it”… it’s really good. 5/5
White Castle - This was included as a freebie with my freebie, a sample of a product that will not be sold because it didn’t meet the Green Ace’s quality control. So they sent me two grams of it to see how I felt. It’s beautiful, aromatic, pungent, with a flavor profile that reminds me of licking the inside of a hamburger bag, or a gas station burger patty. It’s not good but once the initial terpiness dies down it’s a comfortably creamy, easy vape. The bud is a little on the dry side and vapes harsh, but the effects are powerful and come on hard. I would see this being sold as an AAA on another site. It was actually quite interesting to me to see what they consider to be not good enough to sell and I figured I would comment on it.

Hillside Pharmacy - 8/10

Not just upload, but verification of ID needed to be able to place an order. However, they got to me in time to get my Black Friday order in! Order sent same day, but th...anks to Canada Post it did not arrive until the next Friday. Still very reasonable.
Customer Service:
The sale was a flash sale and I wasn’t sure I would get my order in because I’ve never purchased from HSP. They comforted me on the forum and ensured my account was activated in time to place the order! Customer service? More like customer success!
Packaging:
The exterior could be any piece of mail. They contained the budders in a cardboard box, reminded me of a takeout box, preventing anyone from really palpating any product in the box. Inside, there’s a vacuum sealed bag and the budders themselves looks super professional, using the ‘one step up’ metal on the back and clear on the front baggies with a custom business card sized sticker with their logo, the strain information, etc. The budders are in silicone bumper rubber containers, which should prevent any seepage into the grooves. It’s the best budder packaging I’ve encountered!
One sticker was included. I stuck it onto an ounce jar for funsies. Maybe I’ll just start putting all my MOM stickers onto my jars.
Perks for me: Legit order, no free samples for review in this one. I got a flash sale BOGO budders on Black Friday. I asked for them to send two different budders for me to review if they wanted (I picked Platinum Cookies) and they did!
Perks for you: Currently there is a sale on buddar for $30 each gram. HSP does regular sales.
Platinum Cookies - 4.2/5
Dank scent profile, spicy and mostly consists of all the good parts of Durban Poison (its other parent is OG Kush), spicy and floral with a sweet head. Flavorful pulls. Very cookie crumbly, or “sugary” not so much a honeycomb wax budder which holds together, making it fussy to work with. It’s not sticky though, more powdery waxy, so when you inevitably drop some on the table, it’s safe to dab it with your fingertip to reclaim. The presence of the spicy notes from the Durban Poison are far more overstated in wax form, making the “cookie” profile that of a Christmas cookie, perhaps a gingerbread or a molasses cookie. One dab sent me skyrocketing into a surging glorious head high. It’s not completely residue free (the fact that it’s notably more terpy than most budders I’ve tried, this doesn’t surprise me), but reasonably smooth and very effective.
Purple Gorilla - 3.8/5
Powerful grape aroma. More of that classic honeycomb wax texture I expect from most budders. It’s also lower in overall flavor profile and quickly loses most of its flavor. The high is a couch locking intense one that kicks in hard and relieves most pain. It gets a bit harsh near the end of the vaporizing experience, so I did not end up with a residue free result either, though my vaporizer makes it very easy to reclaim the resulting dark resin. It is a very effective product.
In short - I recommend HSP for flavorful but slightly less waxy consistency budder. I will definitely consider them in the future for more concentrates and perhaps try their flower at some point. Thanks for reading!

GanjaWest - 9.5/10
http://feedthemultiverse.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/gwreview.jpg
Perks for me -
Generous <33 I am biased as they offered me a free seven grams with my order for winning a pop-up contest. And I hadn’t used the new customer 3.5 coupon... yet! I didn’t expect them to honor it. WHAT! NO! THEY DID! And not only that but they sent me a bonus gram! And… a… cookie! Such a fabulous gift. Thank you, GanjaWest.
Perks for you -
Currently they are having an incredible sale for 30% off flower. There’s a 10% off + free 3.5 gram coupon, bestwest, for your first purchase. Pretty sure there’s an affiliate code coupon floating around as well. You get 5 dollars worth of points on signup. Free shipping for orders over $99.
Customer service -
Lots of emails to communicate the progress of the order. They kept in touch. I signed up a while ago, I think ID was required.
Packaging -
The usual nondescript mailer with no smell leakage. Inside was a vacuum sealed bag full of plastic labeled bags. It was wrapped sufficiently to not be palpable.
91 Supreme Duke Nukum - AAAA - 4.5/5
Half of the contents were mashed onto the top of the lid, which is kindly protected from being permanently lost in the grooves by a plastic inset. The jar itself is glass, nice and high quality, I’d rather have this than an expensive eye creme anyway! Hah! It’s 1:30 in the afternoon but I’m self employed, so as soon as I finished the data entry part of my work that requires me to be able to like… think… I cracked this out and had a dab. I then finished the dab, wrote this paragraph, and started reaching for my vape to set up a second dab when it hit like a sudden surprise wave of high. Okay, not surprise, I was dabbing…
The flavor is present; pine is the first note I pick up, a bitter winter sweetness, accompanied by a little classy weedy pungent gas. The packaging says floral, it’s true some flowers don’t smell particularly sweet!
Vaporizes leaving very little residue, quite smooth, easy to handle. The hits get a lot harsher as it goes on.
I usually select flowers so I can enjoy myself a leisurely session but I have to say, this is very nice. I went through two dabs and I am sailing now! If you want/need to get medicated fast with no odour as a heavier user, I suspect concentrates are the only way to go. Sent me back to sleep, which was exactly what I wanted at the time… I was in that awkward head space where I had woken up too early to do some work before a deadline and now was awaketired. Anyway, I figured dabbing might sort that out one way or the other and it did. I use a lot and two dabs got me pretty high very fast. Really enjoyed this product.
Buds-
All at weight, or slightly over, usually by .3 but up to .10, with a few very tiny popcorn pieces to bring it to that weight. It’s extremely precise. All of the buds are packaged in “step up from regular zippy” bags that are black on the back, mostly clear window on the front, with a sticker indicating the strain, sativa/hybrid/indica, weight, and which item in the order it is. One thing of note was the stickers which say 1/5, 2/5, etc… an organizational touch I’ve never encountered before which is helpful for large orders. Printed sticker with the strain information which could be carefully removed if someone wanted. No bodevas.
Alice in Wonderland - AAA hybrid - 4.2/5
Fluffy green buds, powerfully aromatic with a sweet floral overtone. This is the most fluffy of the bunch, all of the rest fit on my scale to weigh.
What’s that you say, weed? Smoke me? Well, all right.
Tastes like it smells, floral and sweet, though with a few tokes to explore the flavor, it broadens out to include notes of chocolate and pastries, all very sweet and enjoyable delicate notes. A fabulous happy euphoric high that would be suitable for both day and night use, I think. An incredible smoke, goes down smoothly and hits hard and euphoric in joint form. The sweetness is more pronounced in a vaporizer and the euphoria is more pronounced with smoke. Load this one into your craziest bong for the best time.
Bruce Banner #3 - AAAA sativa dominant - 5/5
This is the strain I requested for my contest win so yes, that’s right, I got 7 grams of this free and I am happy to report I LOVE this strain! It tastes great, sticky, piney and a dank nose on it. Dense nuggets full of THC all the way down, kicks in fast and furious, highly energizing and creative high like chugging an energy drink, just like you would expect from our big green friend. I picked up my novel and finished the scene I was working on and now it looks like our heroine might get lucky…
Beautiful dense nuggets with lots of little orange hairs. I shared it with a sativa-loving friend and she also loved it.
Purple Urkle - AAA hybrid - 4/5
Notes of grape and skunk right off the bat, crawls up into your mouth and lets off a nice skunky sigh. Drier cure than BB3 and slightly less quality trim, but still very nice. Smooth vapor that I found built into a rougher feeling, it’s easy to go through a few bowls of it because of its lower grade. The resulting high is relaxing and distracting from all the little aches and pains of the world. A nice evening option, flavourful and packs a punch at a fair price. I don’t think I’d go out of my way to seek it out but it’s not a bad AAA.
Black Diamond - AA indica - 4.8/5
Packs an incredible punch for its price, the main thing of note is the squished, lower quality, drier bud. It’s potent, flavorful, maintains a peppery bite for a while which tastes delicious, creamy smooth and spicy all at once. A great night time smoke, I may get this one again since I just had the sample! Great example of their AA buds, a worthy contender. The vapor lasts for ages and the high builds up to a very functional couchlock, in at least that I can type but I’m not sure about the rest of me… I would recommend this as a budget indica option if you’re feeling like going through several bowls or passing it around with friends because of how well the flavor holds up. I’m rating it based on its price point and rating, of course; if this were presented as a quad I would not be impressed… but it’s a great budget option. It’s a $150 ounce pre-coupon.
Durban Poison - AAA - pure sativa - 5/5
A personal favourite strain, I have tried many examples of Durban Poison. This example is stinky, extremely terpy with a skunky/gas/spice/pine odour which has earned its name of “poison”. The smaller buds are a light lime green, medium density, with a sprinkle of orange and brown throughout. It’s not a night time strain yet in it goes; it’s 1:23 in the morning and I have a novel to write. Bring it on, espresso of cannabis! Excellent AAA quality bang for buck. Its trim isn’t flawless and the nuggets are smaller, which is I think the only reason it isn’t a quad… otherwise the potency is a similar level to the Bruce Banner. Bruce is a hybrid though, so I found the DP had a bit more kick which could shoot someone into anxiety. I believe this AAA is probably safe enough for most users to try, but if you’re prone to anxiety I would steer away.
Vapor is smooth and warm, a flavor not unlike a chai tea latte. I am personally quite pleased. Vapor lasted for a while and carried with it the energizing surge effect I expect from this strain. The flavor is nicer than some examples which have felt more “poisonous”. Not a bedtime strain!
The Cookie -
Tastes delicious, the fact that it’s a tainted cookie is obvious but it’s still a really good sugar cookie. I have no qualms recommending it on taste alone, unless you don’t want a super sweet cookie. I have eaten half of it, because I’ve had edibles sneak up and destroy me from behind. Report to come. About 3 hours later, I got slapped with some dry mouth and a zoned out edible brain. I suspect given my tolerance I could have eaten the whole cookie. That said, I’m seeing auras. I ate the other half the next day and ended up stuck lying on my face on the couch for half an hour because I COULD NOT MOVE. 5/5
In short-
GanjaWest has some great deals, fair priced product, a great selection of modest priced products and great sales. Their AAAs held up as more than just a viable option for when I share with friends with a lower tolerance than me. Instead I find myself reaching for some Durban Poison or some Alice in Wonderland when using on my own during the day. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future for those days when I want to buy me some mids. While I’ve encountered superior cannabis, the free shipping at $99 is a notable perk for me.
All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. As always, I rate on the experience of the order I’m reviewing and this one was great.
Thanks for reading.
