\[The Green Ace\] Black Diamond Hybrid Indica Review
These are the same guys we tried the pineapple express (fruity sweet and tropical tasting) and the tom ford (lower accents... taste, not as tropical but and sweet and aroma like honey) so I was excited to try this. The bud is dark dark purple, even with microscope its like 1 leaf of green and 5 purple. It was really well trimmed, caked in crystals and the purple ran deep inside the bud. It was dry but I blame that on me storing it in a jar for months before finally checking it out :( so I didn’t get much smell from it directly .. a bit pine, woodsy, earth, etc. But when grinding then you can hit with that fruity smell, flowers, perfume etc. I can only imagine how strong it was fresh. When vaping lower temps at 180 I was disappointed cause it tasted just that usual soapy perfumy taste .. but cranking it to 190 brought out NICE grapes, berries, etc. Not sweet sweet, but enough to really make you taste that berry flavor. That was probably one of the first time I tasted that flavor in pot :D ... burning it in a pipe yielded a dark-grey ash sadly, but was smooth on the throat and ok on the lungs. The smoke was nice and thick, overall good blazing experience and the effects kicked in minor right away and slowly crept up (about 5 mins) for an overall relaxed body, social, creative, and a bit of a head (not mind, just outside the head) buzz. A maintainable high all around. They set it as AAA I would say its close to that but def not a top shelf kinda thing. Would be nice if it was a bit more reasonably priced at 35$ a hq, but otherwise not bad overall. I would order it again once finishing the pineapple express

They also only ship items in jars / containers (at least flowers) which kinda shows how boutique they are ... they want to main the state of the flower as it was first sealed. The package came out to about 140$ or so (+ shipping) so it def wasnt cheap, but it wasnt top-tier expensive stuff as we reviewed before (17.5$ a gram). When opening the jar the smell hit you hard, a lot of different flavors at once: tropic, perfumy, flowery, citrust, light, fresh and a bit sweet. Had quite a bit of moisture so when squeezing it had lot of give-way and didnt break apart when crackin in half. The whole 14g was only about 4-5 buds so they were really big nugs .. one almost 6 grams. When grinding the smell was still there, but not AS strong, yet the bud was super sticky. Smoking it in the vape wasnt SUPER flavorful, but was smooth, very light flower and overall tropical flavors. Light, happy, that kind of thing. Smoking in the pipe was superrrrr smooth probably because these guys kept it in the jar to keep smooth. To be honest I’ve found that indicas def have a stronger smell and taste in the vape so I wasn’t overly dissapointed that the taste wasn’t smack-yo-face strong. I think the reason this high price is set is directed to those who use pipes, bongs and joints. It’s what I describe shisha-like smoothness; cool thick smoke that makes you feel like you really didn’t take a good enough puff. As well the effects were almost instant, disorienting and confusing. Very similar to what we saw on other premium high-grade strains but of course this wasn’t bone dry and was way better under higher temperatures. These BHO guys do have sales if you find it a bit expensive but they also have other strains. I got 2 more coming which I’m excited about (even tho I love sativa and the new ones are indica or hybrid-sativa).

In fact I did a direct comparison with the top 6 most expensive OCS stuff and all of theirs was tiny nugs, very dry, and I think half of them I didn’t recommend from previous videos. The effect kicked in almost immediately after the first toke .. a very awake-sativa, head buzz kind of thing. Def leaning sativa but not to the point of causing paranoia / sketchiness so I imagine this strain is more geared toward smell/taste/look than the crazy 25% THC ones we’ve seen before. This one tho somehow ends up cheaper (compare to 17$ \* 14g) and I would by far buy THIS over THAT. This is not something I would smoke every day but instead let it sit in that jar, curing, and whip it out when I have guests who want to see what some attention and care can get you. I probably wouldn’t order this again as the 14g will last me a long time but I would direct users to check out this strain if they have the cash
I saw what these guys had to offer for their AAAA and wanted to see the bang for the buck for the lower end (AAA) ones. This bud has a good amount of moisture, OK-trimmed, dry st...em and outside a bit wetter. The smell was pretty interesting, very acidic, lemony, we’ve seen this before in other buds but not super super distinct. The real good smell came out when grinded. Talk about burning your nose it was SOOO acidic and lemony, really amazing. I say that was the best part of the ... the smell and the vape taste. Also real lemon woody pine, fresh, an upper and woke you up for sure. I also got a bit of the baked goods smell near the end. Smoking it in the pipe was a bit harsh, a bit heavier in the lungs .... so wouldn’t recommend for pipe or joint smoking. So overall it’s not super cheap, nor is it as good as their AAAA. For the money, do a bit better and grab their quads. Its great smell, great taste but nothing mind blowing ... these guys have other better ones for sure
This hybrid indica is rated AAA on their site and I think it’s about accurate. For something to be AAAA it has to be good tasting, smooth, etc etc. So this bud was just like the othe...r fruity ones I liked; very sweet smelling with a hint of what I believe to be cantaloupe / melon. Also not at all cracky and crispy when breaking it open and the stem was still a tad bit green ... considering it was sitting in an air tight jar here for weeks is impressive. When you crack it open its interesting to see you get 2 buds half down the middle is all red hairs and the other half crusted light buds. The smell tho is crazy once ground up, you dont even need to bring it to your nose. Really sweet, a bit piny, and a bit woody. Its similar to the pineapple express sweetness we saw before .. tropical etc ... but just that pine woody smell makes a difference. Vaping maintains what you smelt to when you heat it up. It’s almost impossible to not want to ONLY vape it’s so great tasting. At one point I swear I could taste baked goods ... so the name lives up to it. So the only reason I WOULDNT give it AAAA rating (as the site didnt either) is it was a tad bit scratchy on the throat, and I was close to coughing smoking from a tiny pipe. It wasn’t horrible or anything just not perfect. I would recommend grabbing maaaaybe a hq or so of it just to see the taste becuase if you’re a big vaper this is a real treat. Lastly the great thing is the effects kick in near instantly and continue to rise. You are still creative, energetic on a chair, happy, creative, etc, just not willing to walk away. A nice head buzz, body buzz, not overpowering. Do get pasties a bit at the end but whatever. I do agree the THC must be 15%+ just based off what OCS standards are.

Keeping in mind I’ve always leaned toward Hybrid and Sativa strains, for an Indica, this strain is alright in my books. Its got really unique colors (purple, dark green, specs of light green, lots of red hairs, caked in dark crystals, overall pretty dense but not heavy; a fat nug is about 1g only. The smell is where it gets interesting... diesel, pungent, gassy when cracked open or grinded. You get a really minor sweet taste but not compared to the overall dank smell. The great part is when you vape it you suddenly get those sweet, HONEY overtones with a slight acidic flavor. I found actually leaving on low temp for some time in the vape that first toke your senses REALLY taste the honey, it’s unique and my first time tasting honey pot like this. Smoking it was really smooth on the throat, not at all itchy, light-ish on the lungs, nice thick smoke. You even get a honey aftertaste after toking. The effects are probably what make it AAA+ - AAAA. Very cerebral high (Back of the eyes, face, head) and not as much body buzz. You can still move, type be creative but you head feels wonky. I think socializing and getting work done can still be done if you’re not too focused. I overall recommend it ESPECIALLY if you smoke indica
The best advice for this strain is smoke it if you wanna get wrecked. This thing is powerful: blueberry being a creeper and the cheese kicking in right away gets you glued to your seat but head buzz at the same time. Def spatial sound, light, etc all change. For 30$ a HQ, this AAA strain is someones cup of tea for sure. For me personally tho I love how this actually smells like blueberries, and a very sweet cheese, tropical like the Pineapple Express strain. This matches the overall pretty purples, larger dark green leaves and red hairs on the tip of the buds. Really smells as if you were eating a blueberry cheesecake. Grinding it also exposes more of that sweet cheese taste and overpowers the blueberry. The sad thing tho in the vape the taste wasnt all there and was a bit harsh but the effects kicked in almost immediate. Smoking was similar; itchy on the throat, light on the lungs, effects kick in right away. I would give it 4/5 but I think the biggest issue is it needs just a tad bit more drying: not a problem I can do that at home. Would recommend this if you wanna go out and get wasted have a good time kinda thing, but maybe it’ll be more tasty and equally strong once dried a bit

There were the guys that had the Blue Tuna which I was very impressed. These buds are also similar to that of the tuna; dense, heavy, well cured but not crispy. It seems its very telltale of MoMs these days which is not a bad thing (just be prepared for 1 bud to be your 5g). The bud itself has a very overall MILD odor when not crushed, but when grinded presents a pine, acidic, fresh-tree smell. When vaping tho the pine taste realllly hits, its really nice almost like chewing gum. I found myself (even after smoking from a pipe) going back to vape. While smoking it under a flame it was very very smooth on the throat, which may or may not explain why it was a bit heavier on the lungs and probably would not want to blaze it if I have the option of vape It’s one of those strands that’s supposedly high on THC (Leafy says 20%) but is more of a tasting thing that pure blazing. But all things aside the effect takes about a minute or two to kick in, VERY high head-buzz giving you a bit vision and balance tripouts and a moderate body buzz (chest, legs, arms etc). Nonetheless I can converse, do work and still do creative things. ---- It’s low price, high THC, great on the vape, decent lighting it up. Would highly recommend Blue Tuna over this, anyday, but would not shy away from enjoying this if offered ;)
I picked this up from a new place simply because of Black Friday... AND this is the Pineapple Express from the movies :P The bud was hard as a rock, but despite it being really really dense, it was very airy. Weighing it on the scale was \~2g, could have easily been 4g as I’ve seen from other MoMs. The smell tho, thats where your money goes. Smells sweet like candy and really really pineapple-y. It’s like you opened a can of pineapples and you get that first wiff. I’ve never had tropical bud but I didn’t know it could do things like this. In the vape was just like how it smelt, really sweet, pineapple, and a tad bit citrus. Was like you were drinking the pineapple juice, really strong and made me sad when I was done vaping. Burning obviously you dont get as much of the taste but was reallllll smooth, and super light on the lungs. You get a hint of pineapple on your tongue when exhaling. No coughing, no itchy throat. The effects kicked in real fast, within the first 30 seconds and continue to creep up. The question ... is it worth 30$+ for a HQ? Well this is def. Comparing it to OCS of that price, it’s a clear winner. This is the stuff that OCS should be charging for 56$ a HQ as it really knocks it out of the water. Highly recommend even just to have around and to WOW guests :D

The main reason I wanted to try this is I could compare it to the OCS stuff from saturday that is the same strain. This one looks much more cured and dried ... but maybe a bit too much if that matters to some people. Everything else is like OCS stuff on steroids: caked in crystals, very well trimmed (almost no noticeable leaves that are not in crystals) and smells/tastes way better (which is surprising as its so dry). Also when I ordered I got NO shake, which is a lot to say compared to the OCS stuff. Vaping gave a bit of a lemony, acidic, fresh taste, but not overly strong. It’s not in-your-face strong but perhaps a bit fresher would be even tastier. Smoking it was really light on the lungs although a tiny bit itchy on the throat ... maybe it was the dryness I dunno. But the effects kicked in within 10 seconds and leveled out in about a minute. It’s nice it doesn’t get you wrecked but also kicks in really fast. That kind of stuff is a bit harder to find as some take over a minute to feel anything. The buzz itself is right down the middle with a tad bit more energy/creative. I don’t feel like walking around but I’m fine sitting here and dealing with what’s in front of me. Highly recommend this as the price is good ($30/3.5) and you get nice whole buds
